Happy Independance Day!!! We had a great day. Uncle Kevin and Aunt Brittany came to the 2nd service. Everyone ooh-ed and ahh-ed over Chase. Chase made some interesting noises during church that I could hear all the way down front. Just like his daddy. ;)
I taught the first service and attended the second.
Then we went to Papa and Nana's house for lunch. Jesse and Reina and her parents joined us. It was a great big party with hot dogs, corn on the cob, watermelon, chocolate cake, chips, beans, and tea. Mmmm...
The kids had a lot of fun running around together.
After the PK service we headed to Founder's Park for the fireworks. We weren't sure we were even going to get to see them. There was a storm brewing off in the water the whole night. God was putting on quite a fireworks display of His own. Finally they decided that the show must go on and around 9:30 the fireworks started. Blake was way too cute for words. The first firework that went up he started clapping and cheering. It was hilarious. I loved it. We were all cuddled up on a blanket, just the 5 of us. It was a pretty perfect moment. I love my family!
