Spring Break

I have some blogs to catch up on!  We had a great Spring Break and I loved having all the kids home all to myself!  Made me really anxious for summer to get here and school to end!  Unfortunately we did get a little sick during Spring Break towards the end of the week but that didn't stop us from having fun!

Monday: Easter Cakes

We had plans to swim but the forecast called for all day rain and storms.  It did rain (not all day) but enough that we enjoyed just staying in and baking and decorating cakes.

 It all started with the design.  I think the girls are catching on to what I like to do.  They both wanted to sit down and make the plan for their cakes.  Super cute.  Picking colors, tips, and candy.

Tuesday: LPC Playdate (see previous post for pictures)

Wednesday: Picnic in our yard, movie time, and "Barbie Day"

Thursday: Founders Park 

Our sweet friend Ava had a cute little 5 yr old birthday party in the park.  This is the day McKenna started with a cough and fever.  You can see her coughing in this picture.

Friday: Jacob's Aquatic Center and Good Friday Service.  On Friday McKenna still wasn't feeling well.  But we felt like we needed to get the family out of the house and thought some sunshine would do her good.  They had been begging to go to the water park by our house so we all 5 headed over.  It was loads of fun.  We are going to get a summertime membership there.  

Friday night was our Good Friday service and the girls sat in service with me.  It was really nice and the girls were so sweet sitting with us.

Saturday: Shew, this was a long day.  The girls went with me to my cake class and got to decorate a bucket in a cute little class for kids right next to us.  Then off to a birthday party for our dear friend Cynthia up in Miami at Dandybear.  Then to the mall to find a dress for the wedding. Then to Nana and Papa's house for dinner.  Then home to get ready for Easter Sunday!  Overall a great week and made me anxious for summer to get here!
