Let's Pray

One of the most precious times of the day for me is when Kourtney prays. We started praying with her at night when she was young and she got to the point that she could pray on her own without being told what to say. Her bedtime prayer has evolved from, "Lord, bless Kourtney, Amen" to "Lord, bless Kourtney, help her have good dreams, and go downstairs when I wake up in the morning." When she prays for food she says, "Lord, bless this food, Amen."

To hear my innocent little daughter pray just makes my day. If I am feeling really sentimental I tear up a little bit.

She also likes to preach. She will get up on a stool and say, "I need to preach!" She will grab a Bible and start talking about God and Jesus and ramble a little bit.

Thank you Lord for such a beautiful little girl!

That is so sweet, and it only gets sweeter as it turns into memories. Nightime prayer is one my most cherished with the boys.

As far as the preaching goes, she's following in the footsteps of her dad and uncle (it probably won't be long until she gets McKenna saved! lol)

Love,
Nana
