Too busy to tell you...

It has seemed very busy lately. I feel overwhelmed when I think about sending out Christmas cards... can I just skip this year?!?!? I have been too busy to tell you ...

... that I actually got my tree up the weekend after Thanksgiving. I almost wanted to take a pass on that this year too, but my wonderful motivated husband said, "let's do it today!" That was all I needed. I love Christmas.

... that this is the LAST picture of McKenna sucking her fingers. I was prepared for WWIII when we decided to put the "yucky nail polish" on her fingers. However, we put it on once and told her that she was a big girl and didn't need to suck her fingers anymore. She sucked them a couple times with that stuff on them and spit and rolled on the floor saying yucky!!!! Then never again. I never re-applied the polish, she never cried once at nap time, and never again in two weeks has sucked her fingers. Now she will tell you herself, I don't suck my fingers they are yucky and I am a big girl. Precious.

... that McKenna took her first nap in the bunk bed today and stayed in without getting up at all.
...that every morning when Kourtney wakes up the first thing she asks is if she can wear a dress that day. She cries when I make her wear shorts or capris. She's becoming a very girly girl.

...that Kourtney's favorite number is 8 because it is two circles on top of each other and she likes circles.
... that we see two dimples on Blake's cheeks (his face cheeks, thank you) that we hope stick around. After all, daddy has one and I fell in love with it before I even dated him. Yes, those are rolls on his legs!
