What's going on inside...

The baby at 10 weeks is about an inch long and has toes and fingers . He or she is busy swallowing and kicking. Each day more minute details start to appear, such as fingernails and peach-fuzzy hair. Eyelids fuse shut and irises begin to develop - eye color is also determined by this point. He or she suck their thumb and all body organs are in place. Squints, swallows, moves tongue, makes a fist. The outer ears are starting to assume their final form, and tooth buds are forming as well . The miracle of life is a remarkable thing. This is #3 and I am still amazed.

A one inch baby at 10 weeks... An ultrasound (not mine) of a 10 week old baby...

Em you are so cute.

I have had two midwife appointments. Call me crazy - I am planning a home birth this time! I love my midwife and she just lives right down the road about 2 miles.

I feel pretty yucky right now. Mostly nausea which I pray goes away around week 12 like it is supposed to.

Kelly you are an awasome woman and you are not crazy for doing a home birth. You and the family are always in our prayers.
