Blast from the past

Cedar Point is the most awesome roller coster park on the planet. I will argue that with anyone. We ate at Fuddruckers after the Miami Heat parade. While there we discovered a video game that was a simulated ride at Cedar Point. My girls got to experience the Gemini for the first time ever! I have such fond memories of that ride. Stephanie screaming from the top... Oh my God, it's Elvis! Riding it a zillion tmes in a row when there was no line. Picking which color you thought was going to make it back first and then racing my friends. Cedar Point... I miss that place. Best park in the world. Hands down.

Oh, a girl after my own heart. Having grown up in Michigan, I too spent many of my days at Cedar Point. I loved it!!! Maybe when the kids are all grown up you and I can meet there!!!

I am determined that one way or another my kids will experience Cedar Point! We went every summer from the time I was 5. I remember the first summer I was tall enough to ride the coasters. I measured myself all year. When we walked in to the park my dad said, what do you want to ride first... I chose the Demon Drop. That was it, I was hooked for life!

OMG, the Demon Drop. I went on it once, when I was a teenager. That's actually the last time I was there. I am QUITE fond of the Magnum!!! That drop is something else!!

I'll never forget my first experience on the Gemini. I was 8 (1982) and my Dad forced my on it. I attempted to scream after the first hill and nothing came out. I remained in that frozen state until the end of the ride. I would not get on it again for 3 years. I worked my way back up...The Mine Ride, Blue Steak, Demon Drop, Wildcat, Iron Dragon...I was ready! I must have rode the Gemini for 5 hours straight after I finally got the nerve to get back on it!
