Women of Faith

We had a really great time at Women of Faith in Fort Lauderdale. It's always nice to be away from the menfolk and children. When I came home the house was very straightened. I was proud of Travis! And the girls were fed and clothed!WOF

This was at 18 weeks (6 weeks ago), but it was so detailed even then!

North Miami Beach

We went to the beach yesterday. I was a little concerned about how much I would actually be able to relax because McKenna has never liked the sand. At first she did her normal scream at the sand, not put her feet down, cry when a few grains got on her hands or feet. But then Travis buried Kourtney in the sand...
Since she wants so much like her sister, when Travis asked if she wanted to be buried she said yes!
Once she got in there she didn't want to leave!
We made a sand castle...
And I actually let Travis take a picture of me in a bathing suit!
More pictures to come later of them in the water. I could only get these off of the card for today.

Crashed

My computer crashed this week. It was a sad, sad day. While Dave Torres was able to rescue my computer (THANK YOU SO MUCH DAVE), I lost everything. All of my files. All of my pictures since McKenna's birth. Just take this as a lesson to not leave your pictures on your hardrive only. While some of them were in various places like walgreens.com, photobucket, myspace, and this blog... I still bawled like a little baby over it. Give me a break, I am pregnant you know.

My outlook calendar and all of my contacts are gone, so I need your email address again. Please email it to me at kjohnson@life-pointe.com.

A Birthday Card for Travis

Tomorrow is my husband's birthday. I won't say how old he will be... but he IS older than I am. We will be traveling to camp meeting tomorrow, so I thought I would post this today!

I love my husband. This past year has been a wonderful year. We took a cruise in August WITHOUT the kids and it was like heaven on earth (or the ocean rather). He is a wonderful husband. He always makes sure to take me on dates. He is my dream guy and every year with him is better and better. I am so blessed that he is mine for life!

Travis is a wonderful daddy. His girls love him so much. He loves to rough them up, throwing them in the air, rolling on the ground with them, teaching them how to throw a good pitch. He is always loving on them and telling them what beautiful princesses they are. Now he is going to have his son and he is beaming even more these days.

He is a wonderful pastor and friend. I have seen him really grow and mature as a leader and he makes me proud. He has taught me to not be so nervous about dreaming big and that change can actually be a good thing! He loves to be around people and loves having friends around him. I love you Travis! Happy Birthday!

Make sure to "sign" Travis' card and leave him a happy birthday comment.Husband to me

Guess the Baby's stats!

I set up an online game to guess the baby's birth date, weight, etc. Go play! Obviously it is a game that won't have a winner for about 4 more months, but it's gonna be fun!!! The prize will be one night of free babysitting... for me. All three of my kids included!! Just kidding.

Have fun!

Genius kids

Kourtney read her first word yesterday. We had a book we were reading for nap time. There was a big word printed on the front of the children's book. It said "BIBLE." Kourtney started pointing to the letters and spelled it out. I said, do you know what that says. She spelled it again. Then started sounding it out. Then she told me BIBLE! I was shocked! So today we told Travis and he decided to quiz her. He typed BABY on his computer. She spelled it, sounded it out, and read it! It took a little more coaching this morning (but not giving her the answer), but she is a GENIUS! She's only 3 1/2. I can brag right? Too bad, I am.

McKenna hides her talents. For the longest she wouldn't count. Once she started counting, she took off. She can almost get to 20 now and she's not 2 yet. Just like she wouldn't walk until she was 14 months and she ran the same night she walked.

So I know the boy will be just as smart. In fact, he is getting there already...
