Half way there

I am 20 weeks today. Only 20 more to go! The baby weighs about 10 ounces, is about 6 inches long, and is moving all the time! He responds to sound and light now.

The family is loving it...

Kourtney is the cutest about the baby. She always asks if she can put her head on my baby. She gives him check ups with her doctor's kit, puts blankets on him if she thinks he is cold, feeds him her baby bottles through my belly button.

McKenna knows where the baby is, but she also (like most kids her age) thinks there is a baby in her tummy too. She will kiss my tummy and lay on it. She lifts my shirt if someone asks where the baby is.

Travis is stalling all name discussions. He says, it is still sinking in that it's really a boy.

I have been doing a little nesting. I pulled all the baby boy clothes out that we packed away after McKenna was born. I washed them and had fun looking at them again. So if you invested in boy outfits for me, don't worry, they will be put to use! I also washed the car seat. Little by little, we are preparing!

McKenna's Dance

McKenna wasn't going to be outdone at Kourtney's recital. She decided to put on a show of her own. Kourtney, however, saw this and came in at the end to steal the show. She was turning into the incredible hulk I think.

Lexi's Birthday

We went to Lexi Martinez's birthday party. Here in south Florida no party is complete without a bounce house, a clown, two pools, two cakes, and lots of meat on the grill. They know how to party!

Dance Mix

The girls LOVE to dance. Kourtney prefers ballet music and McKenna prefers techno dance (or sometimes gangsta rap). So we alternate back and forth. It is a blast!

Poor Baby

McKenna fell off the bed and bit her lip pretty hard. If you ask her about her lip she will tell "fell off the bed." It didn't go all the way through, but almost! She's been really sweet about it.
