Travis thought he would try to take some pressure off by making a joke on his blog. I'm not laughing. I have 81 days left. This is a serious matter.

Lobster

Daddy went lobstering with Uncle Phil, Paul, and Doug. They caught some good stuff. Here are the girls checking them out. Hopefully we don't ruin them when we cook them!McKenna was wearing Kourtney's old tap shoes.They were so cute!

Build A Bear

Nana and Papa's birthday gift to McKenna was letting her "build a bear." So we went last night with Nana and Aunt Marcela to Build A Bear at The Falls (daddy was on a boat "lobstering" all night). McKenna was a bit tired and grumpy because it was her bed time, but she had fun.
She chose her bear. We knew she loved it when she held it up to her nose like she does with her "ginkie."

Then she stuffed her bear (with the help of big sister). The lady at the stuffing station was a little gruff and loud, so McKenna wasn't sure what to think of her. But Kourtney lead the way.

Then she washed her (this was her favorite part)

And went back for more washing...

Then she got distracted by some funny stuff. She tried her hardest to sit in the little bear seat.

And drive the little bear car.

But then she dressed her in a fairy outfit. Then we kept asking her what the bear's name was. She kept saying "a bear." So I thought that sounded pretty close to Abby. Then I thought of the new character on Sesame street named Abby Cadabby. So that is what we named her.

Getting ready for brother

Most women "nest" towards the end of pregnancy. They want to clean and get things ready and make sure that the home is nice for the baby to come in to. We wash baby clothes, clean baby stuff, do the nursery, etc... Well I think Travis actually nested this past weekend. He is getting ready for his son. We cleaned out the garage!!! You can actually walk out there now. Christmas stuff is with Christmas stuff. Baby stuff is with baby stuff. Sports equipment is with sports equipment. He didn't want his son seeing what a mess the garage was.

With that we brought in all the baby stuff that needed to be cleaned and washed. So Kourtney was helping clean up the stuff and is getting so excited about her brother... just like the rest of us.The cradle is one that was built for me when I was a baby. It was a gift from my uncle Joe. I slept in it, Kevin slept in it, Kourtney, McKenna, and now this baby. I love it!

Our Gardener

A few weeks ago Kourtney got a gardening set and has wanted to plant flowers ever since. We finally made it to Home Depot last week. She got cosmos and marigolds to plant. She keeps going to check on her plants and talk to them.

This should be fun!UPDATE: We had our first little sprout come up Monday (7 days after we planted). Kourtney was very proud and very excited. I think it is the marigold.

My stud

I heard my husband was taking part in a weight loss competition. I don't know why. Check out the picture of him here. He looks great to me (he is top left)! I will be gaining more over the next six weeks and he will be losing. However, all on one day, I will lose what will take him 6 weeks to lose! Oh the beauty of delivering a baby!

We went to the park by our house after church last week. It was so hot I thought we were all going to melt. Thanks Erin for sending me these pics!My girls tend to sweat like pigs when in the heat. They were drenched.

These were taken at JC Penney's last week. They did so good! Elmo is only in the picture because McKenna cried after the guy showed it to her and then tried to take it. I figured it was a fair exchange for a smile and I let him stay in the pics.

Chuck E Cheese

Before Disney the girls and I had a day to kill while Travis was at his pastor's coaching network in Tampa. It happened to the be 11th which is McKenna's actual birthday. So we found a Chuck E Cheese's and played for a couple hours. The most cool part of the day was meeting another 2 year old McKenna! I have only ever met one other and she spelled her name Makenna. The girls had a great time...

Meeting Mickey

We went through Minnie and Mickey's House. Kourtney loved it. She had been asking for weeks if Mickey had a couch and if he was going to be in his house. It was adorable. So here is the meeting with Mickey.
