Our 7 year anniversary
Because of my post I have guaranteed that Travis will NEVER close the toilet seat even if he was going to in the first place. He is way too in control for that. But that is okay, I love him anyways! I really posted that so we could flirt online a little bit before our anniversary. It worked out well. Babe, here is to 7 years, 3 states, 5 cities, 7 places of residence (including the house we will close on today!), two gorgeous girls, a dog, a few fights, a ton of laughter, and more love than I ever thought I was capable of.
I love you more today than yesterday and every day my love for you grows. You are godly, inteligent, and very handsome. Your blue eyes and smile still melt my heart and light up any room I am in. The Lord has blessed me with you and with him we are going to make it many more years!
Happy Anniversary!

The question on every woman's mind...
I would like to ask a question. Which way is the toilet lid really supposed to go? If you ask me the lid should look like this...
Or this...

If you ask my husband he would say, "why should the lid go down just because that is how females go? Why isn't the right way with the seat up?"
To that I say, if you touch the seat to put it up use your dirty hands to put it back down. Don't make us lovely females touch the seat to put it back down!
Well, I have been living in a house with TWO men these past couple months (Matt Robinett has been temporarily staying with us). So I have touched double the toilet seats I normally do. What is the big deal with guys leaving the seat up? Am I wrong? I would love to get some feedback on this. Travis, you can even argue your part if you like! :)
One interesting thing, I found a solution to this problem. Some guy invented a hydrolic lift toilet seat that is on a timer. It is called the Considerate Seat. I might have to look into getting one of those!

"Am I a ballerina now?"
"Kourtney..."
"...what color do you want us to paint your room at our new house?"
With smiling eyes she replies, "Race cars with Cinderella."
Yep, she's a tomboy with ballerina slippers on.

Happy Birthday to me!
I had a great birthday. Travis took the afternoon off with me to see WTC. Lisette and Manny brought me a cake to life group. Annette brought me a Birthday Princess Crown that she forced me to wear (LOL). We sang, we ate, a good time was had by all. The best part... Travis booked a cruise for my birthday/our anniversary! We have never been on one together! I am thrilled!
I'll never tell!

Pack and Play
No, not the portable Graco play pen. Literally, when I am trying to pack, Kourtney is wanting to play with everything I am packing. While I am cleaning out her room it's as if I am discovering toys she hasn't seen in years.
"Oh mommy," she says wide eyed and very enthusiastic, "thank you for my toyeeee!!"
"No," I say softly, "if we don't pack this it won't make it to our next house."
"Okay mommy, you can pack it."
This conversation has gone on all day today. I would post pictures because both girls are being very cute packing, I just don't have time!
Packing is taking twice as long because I am having to get clearnace on things from Kourtney. Oh well, at least we are making progress.
